1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of the Semaphore UI Pro platform and related services (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Semaphore UI Automation DOO Novi Sad (“Semaphore UI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This AUP applies to all customers, users, and any other persons or entities that access or use the Services (collectively, “you” or “User”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your access to the Services, as set forth in the applicable agreement between you (or your organization) and Semaphore UI.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this AUP is to:
- Protect the integrity, security, and availability of the Services and Semaphore UI’s infrastructure;
- Ensure compliance with Applicable Laws and regulations;
- Protect the rights and safety of Semaphore UI, its customers, and third parties; and
- Maintain a professional and lawful environment for all users of the Services.
3. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Services, and not to permit any third party (including your employees, contractors, or end users) to use the Services, for any of the following prohibited purposes or activities:
3.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities
- Engaging in any activity that violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law, regulation, or legal obligation;
- Transmitting, storing, or processing any content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, libelous, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise objectionable;
- Engaging in or promoting violence, terrorism, human trafficking, child exploitation, or any form of illegal discrimination or harassment;
- Infringing upon or violating the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other proprietary rights of any third party;
- Distributing malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code or harmful software;
- Engaging in phishing, spamming, or sending unsolicited bulk communications;
- Engaging in any form of fraud, identity theft, or financial crime.
3.2 Disruption and Abuse of Services
- Using the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, impair, or interfere with Semaphore UI’s infrastructure, servers, networks, or the Services themselves;
- Using the Services in any manner that interferes with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Services;
- Launching or facilitating denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks;
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other users’ accounts, or Semaphore UI’s systems, networks, or data (including through hacking, password mining, or any other means);
- Circumventing or attempting to circumvent any security, authentication, rate-limiting, or access control measures implemented by Semaphore UI;
- Using automated means (including bots, scripts, or scrapers) to access the Services in a manner that exceeds reasonable request volume or that is not explicitly permitted under your agreement with Semaphore UI;
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Services, except to the extent expressly permitted by Applicable Law or your agreement with Semaphore UI.
3.3 Misuse of Resources and Data
- Exceeding the usage limits, quotas, or entitlements set forth in your agreement with Semaphore UI (e.g., number of instances, managed nodes, users) without prior written authorization;
- Using the Services to mine cryptocurrency or perform any other resource-intensive activity not directly related to the intended purpose of the Services;
- Storing, transmitting, or processing data that you do not have the legal right to store, transmit, or process, or data in violation of any third party’s rights;
- Using the Services to collect, store, or process personal data in violation of applicable data protection and privacy laws (including GDPR, CCPA, or other regulations);
- Reselling, sublicensing, or otherwise making the Services available to third parties in a manner not expressly permitted by Semaphore UI.
